Set up in six steps

Enter the plan once, then record each day. Here’s the whole journey, from opening the app to sending the first report.

  1. Open the app

Go to app.hifzcalculator.com on your phone. There’s nothing to sign up for and no account to make.

Add it to your home screen so it opens like any other app. See how.

  2. Set the daily sabak and start date

    • Enter how many lines your child learns each day, and the date to count from.
    • Choose to learn from Para 1 up, or from Para 30 down.
    • Make each day of the week Sabak, Revision or Off.
  3. Tap the paras already memorised

Tap each para your child knows already, or mark a range. If a para is part-done, enter how many pages are finished.

Para 1 to 30. Each para you tap is marked as memorised.
  4. Add the holidays

Upload the school calendar as a PDF, .ics or text file, or paste the dates from a letter. Exams, events and lighter sabak days are picked up, and you check them before anything is added.

You can add a day by hand too. The finish date then allows for every day off.

  5. Record each day

Log the lines learned. The tracker shows straight away whether your child is ahead, behind or on track.

Add grades, mistakes and comments if you want the detail.

  6. Share reports

Send the weekly report to WhatsApp, or make a PDF: the full report, or a short one-page report for parents.

Start with step one

It’s free and needs no sign-up. Everything you enter stays on your phone.
