Get the app on your phone

Open the tracker in your phone’s browser, then add it to your home screen. It opens like any other app.

iPhone

In Safari

  1. Open app.hifzcalculator.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up. On newer iPhones you may need to tap ••• first.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add. The tracker’s icon appears on your home screen.

Android

In Chrome

  1. Open app.hifzcalculator.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu button (⋮) at the top right.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen. On some phones it says Install app.
  4. Tap Install or Add. The tracker’s icon appears on your home screen.

Works offline

After your first visit, the tracker opens and works without an internet connection.

No sign-up

You don’t make an account or choose a password. Open it and start.

Move your data to a new phone

Your records stay on the phone you entered them on. To move them to a new phone, or from an old address to app.hifzcalculator.com, use Back up.

  1. On the old phone, or at the old address, open Back up and tap Export my data. This saves every student in one file.
  2. Get the file onto the new phone, for example by emailing it to yourself.
  3. On the new phone, open app.hifzcalculator.com, go to Back up and tap Import my data. Choose the file.
  4. Check what’s in the file. Then choose to replace this phone’s data (a copy of the old data is kept), or add the students as extra.

You can also copy the data instead of saving a file.
